A collection of items generously donated by decendents of Charles H. Tenney included a number of historic documents, photos, and artifacts related to Greycourt and the Tenney family.
We are currently scanning the detailed appraisement of thousands of items that were once located at Greycourt, the Tenney family’s magnificent summer home.
This important 100-page document, Appraisement of Furnishings of "Greycourt", Residence of Mr. C.H. Tenney, details artwork, books, household items, decor, servants’ items, jewelry, furniture—everything that decorated the once magnificent residence! The items offer a complete picture of the 19th-century tastes of this wealthy American family.
